Picture the excitement as you embark on a journey to a National Youth Football Tournament for U7 to U16 players in the 23/24 season. It’s a thrilling adventure filled with the unknown, fresh pitches, formidable opponents, unique challenges, unforgettable away days, and the chance to create lasting memories.
The Venue…
Our North regional heat will be played at the fantastic Sheffield Hallam University Sports Park, Bawtry Road, Sheffield, S9 1UA
The £6 million state-of-the-art facility has high-quality football pitches and is one of Yorkshire’s largest outdoor multi-sports facilities, which will create a great football tournament experience for new north regional heat for the One Tournament Nationals.
A short drive from the M1 motorway we expect to attract teams from all over the northeast, northwest, Yorkshire, and into Scotland. As always you don’t need to be from the North, teams from anywhere in the UK can enter!

With an anticipated participation of over 400 teams, the One Tournament Nationals will be a gathering of grassroots youth football excellence, spanning age groups from U7 to U16.

In the realm of grassroots football tournaments, the unexpected is the norm, with plenty of action in the form of touches, tackles, and goals. It’s no wonder that tournament season has evolved into the pinnacle of the grassroots football calendar.
Our tournaments follow a streamlined format, typically lasting just four hours. No need to endure long waits; the games come fast and furious. Simply show up and coach – we’ll handle the rest. Who really wants to spend six or seven hours at a junior football tournament? We understand that’s quite the marathon!

Within each region, a maximum of 16 teams will be in fierce competition, all striving to secure one of the highly sought-after four spots at the Grand Final in July.

When considering entry, it’s important to note that, based on a squad of 16 players, the entry fee stands at just £16.50 per player. Additionally, there’s an exciting opportunity at stake for those who advance to the National Grand Final – a chance to be crowned National Champions, a truly prestigious accolade.”
This is a tournament for U14 teams in the 2023/24 season.
*In line with FA rules, boys who are registered and have played with a Premier League or Football League club academy U9 and above in the 23/24 season, are not permitted to participate in One Tournament 2024. If they have been released more than 90 days before the tournament they can play however please bring release papers. Girls RTC teams and players are allowed to play in the boy’s national tournament.
Please note you must have a FA team affiliation number to enter our tournaments, you can not turn up with the ‘local unaffiliated dream team’, speak to your local county FA to get affiliated for the 23/24 season.
